Resourceful Robotics


When two year old Cillian Jackson’s parents discovered that a motorised wheelchair was financially out of their reach for their son, they sought help from a group of students who took to the playground to problem solve. The Farmington High School students combined compassion with creativity to design their solution - a modified toy car that is enhanced by electronics. After previously having to be carried in a stroller or his parents arms, the students ingenuity has given Cillian a much more independent way of life.

Prescribed Nature


Put down the Paracetamol and pick up your walking shoes, the future of health and wellbeing could soon become as simple as heading outside. According to a new study from the University of Michigan, taking 20-30 minutes to put down your phone and spend some time outdoors can biologically lower our levels of stress. The study measured the presence of the stress hormone cortisol before and after the participants were immersed in nature, and the results speak for themselves.

Made with Love


At just five years old, Jonah Larson became hooked on the art of crochet. Fast forward to the age of eleven, and Jonah is now mastering complex designs. After setting up a self-sustaining business to sell his creations, Jonah is using his talent to give back to the community - by donating some of his profits to his former orphanage. His passion to give back and support Ethiopia's children to achieve their dreams is simply inspirational.
