As 2015 draws to a close we enter another exciting chapter for Rapport. On Monday we move to our fabulous new home at The Hive in the Northern Quarter. The NQ has been the perfect community for the agency and in the 9 years we’ve been working here, we have seen it become the creative hub and social mecca it now is.

Being in a creative community has always been integral to our plans and Ducie House and Fourways House have been important steps for us – the fabulous space we have created at The Hive is the next of these steps towards realising our vision: to be the creative agency to work with and work for.

We wanted the space to inspire us each and every day; somewhere we could each have the perfect work space dependent on the task in hand and our mood. We’ve spent a long time planning and designing the space with our friends at Spacemen Creative (Ade, Chris & the team), who have helped turn our ideas into reality.

The Hive is a BREEAM building ‘Excellent’ rated and is home to the Arts Council and leading Manchester agencies – Our 5th floor perch has wonderful views over the City and the light that floods in brightens even the darkest of Manchester days. We’ve created spaces to encourage collaboration and impromptu interactions: we also have private spaces for distraction-free working and a fantastic lounge called ESC for informal catch-ups over a coffee! The space has been designed to support our ways of working and further enhance our culture as we continue our mission ‘To use creativity to inspire positive change in people and
brands’.

2015 has been an amazing year – we’d go as far as saying the best to date. We’ve worked on another award-winning project and we’ve added the Telecommunications and FMCG sectors to our ever-growing list of sector experience and Chris has finally made it over to Tokyo (a personal ambition)! In August we spent a brilliant weekend soaking up the culture and history of Berlin – this is an experience that none of us will forget in a hurry. It reinforced what an amazing team we have and provided us with heaps of inspiration to influence our future projects.

In 2016 we will be approaching another year closer to our 10th year as an agency – we can’t believe how time has flown! Over the years, our projects have become more and more exciting; and in April we will deliver our most complex and challenging yet: A one day event across 21 countries simultaneously. (Editor – You can now read all about our multi-award winning One Astellas project here.)

2016 will see continued & sustained growth and we’re on the look out for more new talent to join our team, including producers, content creators, conceptual thinkers and all round great people. If harnessing creativity to inspire positive change in people and brands excites you, and you want help us achieve our vision of being ‘the creative agency to work with and work for’ then we’d love to meet you.

Here’s to the next chapter – bring it on!
