These are three of the many stories from across the world that have activated our minds and informed our work this week.
Teach yourself to be creative...
Have you ever wanted to try something new, but thought to yourself “I can’t, I’m just not creative enough”? We might suck at first, but practice makes perfect. We’re constantly learning and exploring new ways of bringing ideas to life. Why stick with doing the same old thing because you’re nervous it’s not going to be brilliant straight away? Just listen to Einstein “Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new”
“Stories are ten times more powerful than adjectives.”
We love storytelling. Bringing a narrative to life and evoking a connection brings us pure joy, that’s why it cracked a smile when we read that “Use stories, not adjectives” was one of the lessons that Guy Kawasaki learned from Steve Jobs among others.
Hands on art...
We aim to get people hands-on as much as possible, so we adore how yet again, Anya Hindmarch has pushed the boundaries of what it means to showcase at London Fashion Week. This year, she created an elaborate immersive art installation that let visitors climb through the tube - a giant structure that mimics her hand woven fashion accessory creations.
