“We do not remember days; we remember moments.” CESARE PAVESE
Research shows that the way we experience our days is not determined by what happens to us, but rather by what we choose to pay attention to.
Therefore If you want to make time for things that matter, the answer is not to be more efficient with our time, to set more goals nor make more plans. It’s to choose a single highlight to prioritize in your day.
A strategy to choose a daily ‘Highlight’ is to think about satisfaction & joy: 1- At the end of the day, which Highlight will bring me the most satisfaction? 2- When I reflect on today, what will bring me the most joy?
“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work”. MARY OLIVER
