Here are three of the stories from across the world that activated our minds and informed our work this week.
The Pay-Gap Pound
Ad agency 'Mr President' is putting their money where their mouth is when it comes to raising awareness about the gender pay gap. Their latest campaign with creative network 'SheSays' has given the world 'The Pay Gap Pound.' This replica pound coin has the value of 82p to highlight that women in the UK earned an average of just 82 pence for every pound earned by men in 2019.

We know how empowering sound can be, so when we heard about The New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki, our ears pricked up. Their innovative environment uses a building-wide soundscape to create a soothing atmosphere for patients and staff alike.
Their ingenious approach to medical care has even managed to cut through the noise at this year’s International Sound Awards - with the hospital being awarded the Grand Prix in the soundscapes/ambient sound category. - sounds great to us!
Buy Nothing, Repair Something
Every year on Black Friday, savvy shoppers looking for a deal part with millions of pounds both in-store and online. But with the world in a current state of repair, designer brand Raeburn has taken a different approach to fast fashion. Next Friday, the brand will be closing their doors to make way for the RÆBURN Lab - a creative space that invites customers to bring their damaged or unworn clothes into the store where they will fix them free of charge!
